τῇ κρατίστῃ βουλῇ Ἑρμουπόλεως τῆς μεγάλης ἀρχαίας σεμνοτά της καὶ λαμπροτάτης διὰ Αὐρηλίου Κορελλίου Ἀλεξάνδρου ἀποδε δειγμένου γυμνασιάρχου βουλευτοῦ ἐνάρχου πρυτάνεως τῆς αὐτῆς πόλεως παρὰ Αὐρηλίου Ἑρμοδώρου Σιλβανοῦ Ἑρμοπολίτου ἱερονίκου μονοστεφάνου· αἰτοῦμαι ἐπισταλῆναι ἐκ τοῦ πολιτικοῦ λόγου ὑπὲρ ὀψωνίων μου οὗ ἐνίκησα καὶ ἐστεφανώθην οἰκουμενικοῦ Ὀλυμπικοῦ ἀγῶνος ἐν Βόστρᾳ τῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ διεληλυθότος ιγ ἔτους ἕως Μεχεὶρ καὶ αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος ιδ ἔτους μηνῶν ὡς τοῦ μηνὸς δραχμῶν τὰς συναγομένας ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς τετρακισχιλίαςτετρακισχειλίας γίνονται ἀργυρίου δραχμαὶ Δ , λόγου φυλασσομένου τῇ πόλει καὶ τῇ βουλῇ περὶ οὗ ἔχουσι παντὸς δικαίου καὶ ἐπερωτηθεὶς ὡμολόγησα· ἔτους ιδ Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Πουπλίου Λικιννίου Γαλλιηνοῦ Γερμανικοῦ Μεγίστου Περσικοῦ Μεγίστου Εὐσεβοῦς Εὐτυχοῦς Σεβαστοῦ Φαμενὼθ δ Αὐρήλιος Ἑρμόδωρος Σιλβανοῦ αἰτοῦμαι ὡς πρόκειταιTranslations (1)
Au très puissant Conseil d'Hermoupolis la Grande, [ancienne, très vénérable et] très brillante, par l'intermédiaire d'Aurélios Korellios Alexandros […], gymnasiarque [désigné], bouleute, prytane en charge [et de quelque façon qu'on le nomme], de la part d'Aurélios Hermodoros fils de Silbanos, d'Hermoupolis, [vainqueur à un concours sacré], couronné une fois: je demande que soit mandaté [sur la Caisse municipale] à titre d'indemnités [pour la victoire] et la couronne que j'ai remportée au concours [œcuménique et] olympique de Bostra [dues à partir … de la précédente 13e (?) année jusqu'à [Mecheir (?) inclus de la 14e (?) année, soit … mois d'un montant de 200 (?) drachmes par mois, soit 4.000 (?) drachmes d'argent en tout, je dis … dr. drachmes d'argent, le droit de réclamation] étant conservé [à la Ville] et au Conseil [pour tout ce qui leur] revient, et [interrogé] j'ai donné mon accord.
