τῇ κρατίστῃ βουλῇ Ἑρμουπόλεως τῆς μεγάλης ἀρχαίας καὶ λαμπρᾶς καὶ σεμνοτάτης διʼ Αὐρηλίου Κορελλίου Ἀλεξάνδρου ἱππικοῦ ἀπὸ στρατι ῶν καὶ ὡς χρηματίζει ἐνάρχου πρυτάνεως παρὰ Αὐρηλίου Πασίωνος Μώρου Ἑρμοπολίτου.Ἑρμοπολείτου. βούλομαι ὠνήσασθαι ἀπὸ πολιτικοῦ λόγου τύμπανα τρία ἀποβλήσιμα τὰ καὶ ἀποκείμενα ἐν τῷ γυμνασίῳ τιμῆς ἀργυρίου δραχμῶν τετρακοσίων ἅσπερ κυρωθεὶς διαγράψω καὶ παραδώσω τῇ βουλῇ καὶ τῷ πο λιτικῷ λόγῳ· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ κυρωθῶκυρωθη εγ οὐκ ἐνσχεθήσομαι τῇδε τῇ αἱρέσει. διευτυχεῖτε. ἔτους ιδ Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Πουπλίου Λικιννίου Γαλλιηνοῦ Γερμανικοῦ Μεγίστου Περσικοῦ Μεγίστου Εὐσεβοῦς Εὐτυχοῦς Σεβαστοῦ Χοιὰκ Πασίων Μώρου ἐπέδωκα ὡς πρόκειται ς ἔγραψα ὑπὲρ αὐτοῦ φάσκοντος μὴ εἰδέναι γράμματα

Au très puissant Conseil d'Hermoupolis [la Grande, ancienne, brillante] et très vénérable, par l'intermédiaire d'Aurélios [Korellios Alexandros, chevalier qui a accompli ses milices], et de quelque manière qu'on le nomme, [prytane] en charge, de la part d'[Aurélios] Pasion, fils de Moros, Hermopolite, [je veux acheter de] la Caisse municipale trois tympana mis au rebut […] qui sont aussi déposés dans le gymnase, pour le prix de quatre cents drachmes d'argent desquelles, s'ils me sont adjugés, je ferai établir un bordereau de versement et que je remettrai [au Conseil et à la] Caisse municipale; dans le cas contraire, je ne serais pas [lié] par cette proposition.
