τῇ κρατίστῃ βουλῇ Ἑρμουπόλεως τῆς μεγάλης ἀρχαίας καὶ λαμπρᾶς καὶ σεμνοτάτης διʼ Αὐρηλίου Κορελλίου Ἀλεξάνδρου ἱππικοῦ ἀπὸ στρατιᾶς εὐθηνιαρχήσαντος γυμνασιάρχου βουλευτοῦ ἐνάρχου πρυτάνεωςπρυτάνεωςπρυτανσ τῆς αὐτῆς πόλεως παρὰ Αὐρηλίου μου Διδύμου βουλευτοῦ αἱρε θέντος ὑπὸ τῆς κρατίστης βουλῆς ἅμα Μαξιμ γενομένου βουλευτοῦ εἰς ἐπιμέλειαν οἴνου ἀννώνης διανεμεθείσης τοῖς τότε μ του γενναιοτάτοιςγεννεοτάτοις στρατιώταις· αἰτούμεθα ἐπισταλῆναι ἀπὸ πολιτικοῦ λόγου τὰ καὶ προσχρησθέντα εἰς τὴν προ κειμένην ἐπιμέλειαν ὑπὲρ τοῦ ἐπιβάλλοντος τῇ πόλει τρίτου μέρους ὑπὲρ μηνῶν Μεσορὴ καὶ Θὼθ καὶ Μεσορὴ μὲν τοῦ διεληλυθότος ιγ ἔτους Θὼθ δὲ τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος ιδ ἔτους ἀργυρίου τάλαντα δύο καὶ δραχμὰς χιλίας τεσσαράκοντατεσσεράκοντα ὧν τὸν λόγον καταχωριοῦμεν εἰς τὸ πολιτικὸν λογισ τήριον καὶ ἐπερωτηθεὶς ὡμολόγησα ἔτους ιδ Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Πουπλίου Λικιννίου Γαλλιηνοῦ Γερμανικοῦ Μεγίστου Περσικοῦ Μεγίστου Εὐσεβοῦς Εὐτυχοῦς ΣεβαστοῦTranslations (1)
[Au très puissant] Conseil d'Hermoupolis la Grande, [ancienne, brillante et très] vénérable, par l'intermédiaire d'Aurélios [Korellios Alexandros, chevalier] qui a accompli ses milices, ancient euthéniarque, [gymnasiarque], conseiller, prytane [en charge de ladite cité], [de la part d'Aurélios …] Didymos, conseiller, [choisi par le] très puissant Conseil en même temps que Max[im …], conseiller, pour la curatelle [du vin ? de l'annone distribuée] à ceux d'alors (?) […] aux très nobles soldats.
