βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Σώπατρος Μέλανος καὶ Διονύσιος Ἀλκαινέτου καὶ Πτολεμαῖος Περίτου, κάπηλοι ἐκ Κερκεσούχων. ἀδικούμεθα ὑπὸ Πετενεντήριος. τοῦ γὰρ δ ἔτους, Μεχείρ, ἀποδόμενος ἡμῖν οἴνου κεράμια ρκϛ, ὧν ἑξάχοα μὲν οβ, πεντάχοα δὲ νδ, ἕκαστον μετρητὴν τὸν ἑξάχοον δραχμῶν ιδ, καὶ εἰς τοῦτο λαβὼν παρʼ ἡμῶν ἀρραβῶνα δραχμὰς π, ἐφʼ ὧι καὶ τοῦ ἐκφερομένου τὴν τιμὴν διορθούμενοι ἐκταμιευσόμεθα, ἡμῶν δὲ ἐκτεταμιευμένων ἑξάχοα μὲν λ, πεντάχοα δὲ ϛ, καὶ τούτων δεδωκότων ἡμῶν τῶι π τὴν τιμὴν τῶι παρὰ Νίκωνος, ὧι συεταη ὁ Πετενεντῆρις, δραχμὰς υϙ καὶ ἔτι πλεῖον δραχμὰς ρι ἵνα καὶ τοῦτο ἡμῖν ὑπάρ χηι πλεῖον τοῦ δεδομένου ἀρραβῶνος, ὥστε εἶναι τὸν ἀρραβῶνα δραχμὰς ρϙ, βουλομένων δὲ ἡμῶν καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ ἐκταμιεύεσθαι, εὑρίσκομεν ἀπὸ τοῦ πλήθους ἐλαττονοῦντα κεράμια ἑξάχοα ϛ πεντάχοα η. δεόμεθα οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, εἴ σοι δοκεῖ, προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι ἀνακαλεσάμενον τὸν Πετενεντῆριν ἐπισκέψασθαι περὶ τούτων καὶ ἐὰν ἦι ἀληθῆ ὡς διὰ τῆς ἐντεύξεως ἐμφανίζομεν, ἐπαναγκάσαι αὐτὸν ἀποδοῦναι ἡμῖν τὸ διάφορον τῶν ἐλαττονούντων ιδ κεραμίων, ὅσον ἂν κατομοσώμεθα, ἵνα ἐπὶ σὲ καταφυγόντες, βασιλεῦ, τύχωμεν τοῦ δικαίου. εὐτύχει. ἔτους δ, Δίου γ, Φαμενὼθ κζ. ἔτους δ, Δίου γ, Φαμενὼθ κζ.
