Ῥαμμίωι Μαρτιάλι τῶι κρατίστωι ἡγεμόνι Ἀπολλώνιος στρατηγὸς Ἀπολλωνοπολίτου Ἑπτακωμίας χαίρειν. ἧς ἤδηἄρτι γέγραφά σοι, ἡγεμὼν κύριε, περὶ κομεάτου ἐ πιστολῆς τὸ ἀντίγραφον σοὶ ὑπέταξα, ἵνʼ ἐάν σου τῆι τύ χηι δόξηι, συγχωρήσηις μοι ἡμέρας ἑξήκοντα εἰς τὴν διόρθωσιν τῶν ἡμετέρων, νῦν μάλιστα, ὅτε οἴομαι ἐν κατεπείγειν. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι, ἡγεμὼν κύριε. ἔτους. Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Τραιανοῦ Ἁδριανοῦ Σεβαστοῦ Χοιὰκ β. Ῥαμμίωι Μαρτιάλι τῶι κρατίστωι ἡγεμόνι Ἀπολλώνιος στρατηγὸς Ἀπολλωνοπολίτου Ἑπτακωμίας χαίρειν. ωνχαίρειν περὶ ὧν, ἡγεμὼν κύριε, ἅπαξ κα οὐχ ἅπαξ, καὶ νῦν συνχρήσασθαι· οὐ γὰρ μόνον ὑ πὸ τῆς μακρᾶς ἀποδημίας τὰ ἡμέτερα παντάπασιν ἀμεληθέντα τυγχάνει, ἀλλὰ καὶ παρὰ τὴν τῶν ἀνοσίων Ἰου δαίων ἔφοδον σχεδὸν πάντα ὅσα ἔχω ἔν τε ταῖς κώμαις τοῦ Ἑρμοπο λίτου καὶ ἐν τῆι μητροπόλει γενόμενα τὴν παρʼ ἐμοῦ ἀνάληψιν ἐπιζητεῖ. ἐπινεύσαντος οὖν σου τῆι δεήσει μου μετὰ τὸτοὺ διορθῶσαι κατὰ τὸ δυνατὸν τὰ ἡμέτερα δυνή σομαι εὐθυμότερον προσέρχεσθαι τῆι τῆς στρατηγίας ἐπιμελείαι.
