βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Πλαίσων Εὐδόξου, Θεοξένειος, τῶν Διονυσίου τ ἔντευξιν Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι διʼ ἧς διεσάφουν ἄλλα τε καὶ ἵνα διεθῇ ὁ σῖτος περὶ οὗ ἔγραψεν Διοφάνης Δεινίαι συνέχειν, χρηματισθείσης δέ μοι τῆς ἐντεύξεως παραδεῖξαι τὸν Λαμέδοντα καὶ Φορμίωνα κακοτεχνοῦντας, ἔγραψεν Διοφάνης ἀποδόντος δέ μου τὴν ἐπιστολὴν τῶι Δεινίαι καὶ παραδείξαντος αὐ με ὁ Λαμέδων ἐπι δειις κομισάμενον τὸν σῖτον καὶ ταῖς ρ ἀρτάβαις κάθαρσιν πυρῶν ἀρτάβας ιβ συγγραφὴν κ ἀξιώσας οὐθένα μου λόγον πεποίηται ἕως τοῦ νῦν. δέομαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι Δεινίαι τῶι ἐπιστάτηι διασαφῆσαι τὸν σῖτον καθότι αὐτῶι ἐγράφη· ὁμοίως δὲ καὶ εἰ ἠξίου με ὁ Λαμέδων κομισάμενον τὸν σῖτον ἄρασθαι αὐτῶι τὴν συγγραφήν. τούτου γὰρ γενομένου, ἐπὶ σέ, βασιλεῦ, καταπεφευγὼς τοῦ δικαίου τεύξομαι. Δεινίαι. διασάφησον ἡμῖν περὶ ὧν γράφει. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου κη, Τῦβι ιβ. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου κη, Τῦβι ιβ. Πλαίσων περὶ ὧν ἀξιοῖ γραφῆναι Δεινίαι.
