βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Ἀδάμας Λιβάνου, Σαμαρίτης τ τοῦ παρὰ Φιλίτου γραμματέως τῶν μισθοφόρων ἱππέων ἐμισθω τοῦ ὑπηρέτου τῶν μισθοφόρων τὸν σπόρον τὸν εἰς τὸ κϛ ἔτος, ἐκφορι κατὰ συνγραφὴν μισθώσεως ἣν συνεγραψάμην αὐτῶι, πρὸ τοῦ δὲ τ συνέβη τῶι Ἀρτεμιδώρωι ἀπὸ τῆς γραμματείας ἀποσταθῆναι Ἀμμώνιον ὑφʼ ὧν ἠναγκάσθην δοῦναι τῶν ἐκφορίων τ μηνὸς Αἰγυπτίων Τῦβι θ, παραγενομ ε αὐτῶι τὰ ἐκφορια ατεμ μισθώσεων ων. ἀξιῶ οὖν προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι, ἀνακαλεσάμενον Νουμήνιον τὸν καὶ Χαρμίδην τὸν ἐπιστάτην καὶ Ἀμμώνιον τὸν πράκτορα, ἐπισκέψασθαι ἀποδοθῆναι καὶ ὧι ἂν συνκρίνηι ἀποδοθῆναι ὑπ μὴ συκοφαντηθῶ ἀπραγμονων, ἀλλʼ ἐπὶ σὲ καταφυγὼν φιλανθρωπίας ὦ τετευχώς. εὐτύχει. διασάφησον ἡμῖν περὶ ὧν γράφει. μάλιστα διάλυσον αὐτούς ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου λ, Τῦβι ιγ. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου λ, Τῦβι ιγ.
