βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Φιλίσκος, Κυρηναῖος, ἐκατοντάρουρος, τῶν κατοικούντων ἐν Ἀρσινόηι τῆι ἐπὶ χώματος, τῆς Θεμίστου μερίδος. ἀδικοῦμαι ὑπὸ Ἡδείας τῶν κατοικουσῶν τὴν αὐτὴν κώμην. λαβοῦσα γὰρ παρὰ τῆς γυναικός μου υφᾶναι ἱμάτια δύο ἐπὶ τοῦ αὐτοῦ ἱστοῦ, ὧν καὶ τὰ ὕφαντρα παραχρῆμα καὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν δύο ἱματίων, καὶ τὸ μὲν ἓν αὐτῆς ἐξυφανάσης οὐχ οἵα ἐστὶν τὸ ἄλλο ἱμάτιον προσεξυφᾶναι κακοτεχνοῦσα. δέομαι οὖν σοῦ, βασιλεῦ, εἴ σοι δοκεῖ, προστάξαι Ποσειδίωνι τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι Ὀνησάνδρωι τῶι ἐπιστάτηι ἀποστεῖλαι τὴν Ἡδεῖαν ἐπὶ Ποσειδίωνα ω διὰ τῆς ἐντεύξεως ὄντα ἀληθῆ, ἐπαναγκάσαι αὐτὴν . τούτου γὰρ γενομένου οὐκ ἀδικηθήσομαι, ἀλλʼ ἐπὶ σὲ καταφυγών, τὸν κοινὸνκοινὸμ πάντων εὐεργέτην, τεύξομαι τοῦ δικαίου. εὐτύχει.
