βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Πᾶσις Ἁρεῦτος, ἰβιοβοσκός. ἀδικοῦμαι ὑπὸ Ὥρου τοῦ Ὥρου, τῶν ἐκ Φιλωτερίδος, τῆς Ἡρακλείδου μερίδος. φάσκων γάρ με συγγεγράφθαι τῆι θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ Τζεναμοῦνι συγγραφὴν αἰγυπτίαν δραχμῶν υκ, οὐ συνγεγραμμένου μου. δέομαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι Νεφερῶτι τῶι ἀρχιφυλα κίτηι τῆς κώμης ἀποστεῖλαιἀποστῖλαι Ὧρον ἐπὶ Διοφάνην κριθησόμενόν μοι καί, ἂν φαίνωμαι μὴ συγγεγραμμένος τὴν συγγραφὴν ἀποδοῦναί μοι· περὶ δὲ ὧν συντετέλεσται, τυχεῖν αὐτὸν τῆς προσηκούσης τιμωρίας· ἂν δὲ ἀρνῆται, ὑπογραφὴν ποιήσασθαι ἐπὶ Διοφάνους, ἵνα, διὰ σέ, βασιλεῦ, τύχω τοῦ δικαίου. εὐτύχει. Σωσιβίωι. μάλιστα διάλυσον αὐτούς· εἰ δὲ μή, ἀπόστειλον ὅπως ἐπὶ τῶν λαοκριτῶν διακριθῶσιν. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου λ, Τῦβι ιγ. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου λ, Τῦβι ιγ. Au roi Ptolémée salut Pasis, fils de Hareus, ibiobosque. Je suis lésé par Hôros, fils de Hôros, de Philôtéris, dans la méris d’Héracleidès. Il prétend que j’ai souscrit à sa fille Tsénamounis un reçu en langue égyptienne, pour une somme de 420 drachmes, reçu que je n’ai pas souscrit. Je te prie donc, ô roi, d’ordonner à Diophanès le stratège d’écrire à Néphérôs, l’archiphylacite du bourg, qu’il envoie Hôros devant Diophanès pour être jugé contradictoirement avec moi; et, s’il apparaît que je n’ai pas souscrit ce reçu, je demande qu’il me soit remis et que, pour l’acte dont Hôros s’est rendu coupable, il reçoive le châtiment approprié; enfin, s’il nie, qu’il fasse une ὑπογραφή devant Diophanès, afin que, grâce à toi, ô roi, j’obtienne justice.
