βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Πτολέμα. ἀδικοῦμαι ὑπὸ Νείλου. ἐγλαβόντος γὰρ Θεοδότου, τοῦ υ τοὺς καρποὺς τοῦ ὑπάρχοντος αὐτῶι φοινικῶνος περὶ Σαμαρείαν εἰς τοῦ Θεοδότου τὴν τιμὴν τῶν καρπῶν, περὶ ὧν καὶ ἐπιστολὴν προήκατο τελευτήσαντος τοῦ Θεοδότου πρὸ τοῦ αὐτὸν ἀπενεγκ τοὺς καρπούς, ἐμοῦ δὲ τῶν ὑπὸ τοῦ Θεοδότου καταλελειμμένων καὶ διατηης τοὺς καρποὺς τροφὴν καὶ τοῖς χρήσταις ὑπὲρ τοῦ Θεοδότου αδω, ἐπελθὼν Νεῖ λος Μεσορὴ ἐξέβαλέν με ἐκ τοῦ προειρημένου φοινικῶνος παροκινων ἐπεὶ οὖν οὐ δύναμαι δίκην αὐτῶιαὐτ γράψασθαι διν ευγγράφης τά τε πράγματά μου προσδεῖται τῆς ἐπὶ τοῦ στρατηγοῦ ἐπισκέψεωςπροσδεῖται σκεψε δέομαι σου, βασιλεῦ, προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι τῶι ἐπιστάτηι ἀποστεῖλαι Νεῖλον ἐὰν δὲ ἦι καθότι γράφω, ἐπαναγκάσαι αὐτὸν ἀποδοῦναί μοι τὴν τιμὴν δραχμὰς ρ, περὶ δὲ τῆς ἐγβολῆς Διοφάνην διαγνῶναι καθότι ἂν αὐτῶι φαίνηται. τούτου δὲ γενομένου, διὰ σέ, βασιλεῦ, τοῦ δικαίου τεύξομαι. εὐτύχει. μάλιστα διάλυσον αὐτούς· εἰ δὲ μὴ, ἀπόστειλον ὅπως κατὰ τοὺς νόμους τὸ δίκαιον λάβωσιν. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου λ, Τῦβι ιγ.
