To the excellent senate of the great, ancient, illustrious and most august city of Hermopolis through Aurelius Alexander —— Corellius, former cavalryman in the army, and however else he is styled, prytanis in office, from Aurelius Origenes Horion, senator in the same city. Being chosen by the excellent senate for the oversight and purchase of plaster and rubble for the hot baths of Hadrian in the gymnasium of the same city, I request an appropriation of a talent of silver —— from the civic treasury on account of my expenses in this same ofice. I shall give an account of this to the city treasury, the rights of the city and senate which my possess being protected

About this record's data
  • From the source institution — accession, description, dimensions, and dating are as catalogued by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
  • AI-inferred — the image-analysis panel (deities, names, signs) is machine-generated and may be wrong.
  • Approximate location — most map points are plotted at the site centroid, not the exact findspot.
  • Inferred links — cross-references marked with a match method other than explicit-source-field were matched by us, not stated by the source.
  • Inherited across the Trismegistos spine — a Trismegistos ID names one ancient text, and papyrology splits that text's description across databases: the edition in one, the date and provenance in another, the physical papyrus in a third. Fields tagged via … on this page were read from a sibling record under the same TM number, not asserted by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
