τῇ κρατίστῃ βουλῇ Ἑρμουπόλεως τῆς μεγάλης ἀρχαίας καὶ λαμπρᾶς καὶ σεμνοτάτης διὰ Μάρκου Αὐρηλίου Κορελλίου Ἀλεξάνδρου ἱππικοῦ ἀπὸ στρατιῶν γυμνασιάρχου βουλευτοῦ ἐνάρχου πρυτάνεως τῆς αὐτῆς πόλεως καὶ ὡς χρηματίζει παρὰ Αὐρηλίου Δημητρίου τοῦ καὶ Εὐδαίμονος Ἑρμίνου βουλευτοῦ τῆς αὐτῆς πόλεως αἱρεθέντος ὑπὸ τῆς κρατίστης βουλῆς εἰς ἐπιμέλειαν προκαύσεως Ἁδριανῶν θερμῶν βαλανεί ων τῆς αὐτῆς πόλεως· αἰτοῦμαι ἐπισταλῆναι ἀπὸ τοῦ πολιτικοῦ λόγου εἰς τὴν αὐτὴν πρόκαυσιν ἀκολούθως τοῖς ὑπομνηματισθεῖσιὑπομνηματισθεῖσει ἐπὶ τῆς αὐτῆς κρατίστης βουλῆς τῶν αὐτῶν Ἁδριανῶν θερμῶν βαλανείων καὶ νῦν ἀργυρίου τάλαντον ἓν καὶ δραχμὰς ἑξακοσίας γίνονται ἀργυρίου τάλαντον α δραχμαὶ χ οὗ τὸν λόγον ἐπιδώσω τῷ πολιτικῷ λόγιστηρίῳ, λόγου φυλασσομένου τῇ πόλει καὶ τῇ βουλῇ περὶ οὗ ἔχουσιν παντὸς δικαίου· διευτυχεῖτε. ἔτους ιδ Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Πουπλίου Λικιννίου Γαλλιηνοῦ Γερμανικοῦ Μεγίστου Περσικοῦ Μεγίστου Εὐσεβοῦς Εὐτυχοῦς Σεβαστοῦ Χοιὰκ ιζ Αὐρήλιος Δημήτριος ὁ καὶ Εὐδαί μων βουλευτὴς αἰτοῦμαι τὸ τοῦ ἀργυρίου τάλαντον ἓν καὶ δραχμὰς ἑξακοσίας ὡς πρόκειται Αὐρήλιος αἰτοῦ μαι ὡς πρόκειταιTranslations (1)
[Au] très puissant Conseil d'Hermoupolis [la Grande, ancienne], brillante et très vénérable, [par l'intermédiaire de Marcos Aurélios Korellios] Alexandros, chevalier qui a accompli ses milices, [gymnasiarque, bouleute], prytane en charge de ladite cité, [et de quelque manière qu'on le nomme], [de la part] d'Aurélios Démétrios, appelé aussi Eudaimon [Herminos, bouleute de ladite] cité, choisi par le très puissant Conseil pour la curatelle du chauffage des Bains [chauds] d'Hadrien [de ladite] cité: je demande de mandater sur la Caisse [municipale] pour le chauffage, conformément aux Actes établis en présence dudit très puissant Conseil, desdits Bains chauds d'Hadrien, maintenant un talent d'argent et six cents drachmes, je dis 1 talent d'argent et 600 dr., dont je rendrai compte au bureau municipal de comptabilité, le droit de réclamation étant conservé à la Ville et au Conseil pour tout ce qui leur revient.
