σεῖνοςρεῖνοσ τῇ μητρὶ πλεῖστα πολλὰ χαίρεινχαίριν. πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαίεὔχομέ σεσαι ὑγι αίνεινὑγειαίνιν καὶ τὸ προσκύνημά σου ποιῶ καθʼ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν παρὰ τῷ κυ ρίῳ Σαράπιδι καὶ τοῖς συννάοις θεοῖς εὐχόμενός σεσαι ὑγιαίνεινὑγειαίνιν. πρῶτον μὲν γινώσκεινγεινώσκιν σεσαι θέλω, ὅτιὅτει λυποῦ μαι, ὁπόταν τις παραγένηται καὶ μη ἐνέγκῃ μοι ἐπιστολίδιον. εἰ γάρ σοι ἔμελε περὶ ἐμοῦ, ἔμελλές μοι γράφεινγράφιν, ἀλλὰ καὶ πολλάκις σοι ἔγρα ψα περὶ βίρρου καὶ οὐκ ἐποίειςἐποίης καὶ γίνωσκεγείνωσκε, ὅτιὅτει σήμερον τετραε τίατετραε μαφόρτην οὐκ ἔσχον ἀλλὰ καὶ χρείανχρίαν ἔχω μαφόρτου καὶ πᾶν ποίησον τοῦ τὰ ἐπιβάλλοντα τῇ ἑορτῇ τοῦ ΣαράπιδοςΣαραπις φροντίσαι καὶ πέμψαι, ἀλλὰ καὶ τοῦτο μά θε, ὅτιὅτει πάλαι αἱ δοῦλοί σου εἰς τὴν κέλλαν αὐτῶν ἔχουσιν ἐλαίαςελας κα ὧν οὐκ ἠξίωσας πέμψαι κεράμιν ωων. ἀσπάζομαι τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς καὶ τοὺς ἐμοὺς πάντας κατʼ ὄ νομα. ἐρρῶσθαί σεσαι εὔχομαι πέμψον μοι αὐτήν, χρείανχρίαν γὰρ αρίαν
