Ἐπαγαθὼς Κλεοπατρᾶτι τῇ ἀδελφῇ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαίεὔχομέ σεσοι ὑγιαίνειν καὶ τὸ προσκύνημά σου ποιῶ παρὰ τῷ κυρίωι Σαράπιδι. δήλωσόν μοι περὶ ὧν ἔπεμψά σοι. ἤθελον καὶ πέμψαιπέμψε σοί τι ἄλλο, καὶ οὐδεὶς λαμβάνει ὅπως σοι κομισθῇκομισζη. ἀσπάζομαι Σωκράτην καὶ Μαρκέλλαν καὶ τοὺς σοὺς πάν τας κατʼ ὄνομα ἀπόδος ΚλεοπατρᾶτιΚλεοπατρᾶτιτῇ Κλεοπατρᾶτι ἀπὸ Ἐπαγαθῶτος

Epagathos sendet seiner Schwester Kleopatras herzliche Grüße. Vor allem wünsche ich dir Gesundheit und bete für dich zum Herren Sarapis. Gib mir doch Nachricht über das, was ich dir gesandt habe. Ich wollte dir auch noch etwas anderes schicken, aber keiner nimmt es mit, um es dir zu überbringen. Ich grüße den Sôkratês, die Marcella, sowie alle die Deinen einzeln. Verso Gib ab an [Kle]opatra von Epagathos. Leicht veränderte und vervollständigte Version der Übersetzung von Erman - Krebs, Aus den Papyrus der königlichen Museen (1899), S. 210.
