Πάππος Ἀθηνοδώρωι τῶι θειοτάτῳθεοτάτῳ διοικητῆι πλεῖστα χαίρειν καὶ διὰ παν τὸς διευτυχεῖν ἄριστʼ ἐπανάγειν. ἐπεὶἐπὶ πα ρεποδίσθηνπαραποδείσθην εἰς Μέμφιν γενέσθαι χάριν ἱματίων διὰ τὴν παράστασιν Γάλλου πέ πομφα Ἀσκλάπωνα ὅπως ἀν έβηἀνέβηι· ἐὰν ς οὖν σοι φαίνηται εὐθέως ἀνάγκασονἀνάνκασον ἐξορμῆσαι ἵνα καὶ αὐτὸςκαὐτὸς αὐτὸς μὴ παραποδισθῶπαραποδεισθῶ· ἐκδέχομαι παρʼ αὐτὸν ἕξ· Ἀσκλάπων δέ μοι συμβούλευσε ευκλ συνήγορον παραστῆσαι· ἄτερ οὖν τῆς σου γνώμης οὐκ ἐβουλήθην δαπα νᾶσθαι· διὸ ἐάν σοι φαίνηται, σήμανον. πέπομφαι δέ σοι τὴν καταγραφὴν τοῦ ἐν ἁλὶἁλὺ χωρίου καὶ τὸν τοῦ βασιλικοῦ γραμματέως σχοινισμόν· ἐπιχρονίζωἐπεὶἐπὶ χρονίζω ἐκτὸς τῶν χρόνων. ἐάν σοι φαίνηται διʼ ἡμερῶν λτος πέμψονπέμπψον ὀψαρίδια. τὰ δʼ ἄλλαἄλα ἐπιμέλου σεαυτοῦ ἵνʼ ὑγιαίνῃς, ὃ δὴ μέγιστον ἡγοῦμαι. ἔρρωσο ἔτους κα Καίσαρος Φαμενὼθ ϛ Ἀθηνοδώρωι τῶι διοικητῆι
