Αἴλιος Θέων Ἑρμίνωι τῶι ἀδελφῶι χαίρειν. καὶ πρὸ ἡμερῶν ἔγραψά σοι ἀσπαζό μενός σε καὶ τὴν κυρίαν μου θυγατέρα σου Διονυσίαν καὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτῆς. καὶ νῦν τὸ αὐτὸ ποιῶ καὶ παρακαλῶ συγγνῶναί μοι εἰ μήπω τῆι αὐτῆι κυρίαι ἡμῶν πέ πομφα τραγημάτια. οὔπω γὰρ τὰ νέα κατέπλευσεν. ὅταν δὲ κατακομισθῆι, πέμψω αὐτῆι ἄξια αὐτῆς καὶ εἴ τι ἄλλο ἐὰν δύ νωμαι. ἑκάστης μέντοι ἡμέρας τὸ προσκύνημα αὐτῆς ποιῶ πα ρὰ τῶι θεῶι τω θετωι κυρίωι Σαράπιδι καὶ σοῦ καὶ τῆς μητρὸς αὐτῆς. ἀσπάζου οὖν αὐτὴν καὶ τὴν μητέρα αὐτῆς, μεθʼ ὧν ἐρρῶ σθαί σε εὔχομαι εἰς μακροὺς χρόνους καὶ ὅλωι σου τῶι οἴκωι. ἔρρωσο. Παχὼν κβ. Διογᾶς ὁ ἐμὸς ἀνέπλευσεν, ἐπὶ ποίαι αἱρέσει μεταδώσει σοι καὶ ἡ ἀδελφή μου καὶ Διονύσιος ὁ νομογράφος καὶ Πτολεμαῖος ὁ μελλογυμνασίαρχος, οἷς συλ λήψῃ, ἐάν γε μὴ ὦ πεπλανη μένος. Σαραπιόδωρος ὁ φίλος ὁ ἔμπορος πολλάκις με λυπήσας καὶ νῦν ἐν τοῖς περὶ Διογᾶτος ἀντιδικεῖ μοι. τοῦτο ὑμᾶς μαρτύρομαι μόνον. οὐ γὰρ ὑπομένω αὐτὸν μιμήσασθαι. ἀπὸ Αἰλίου Θέωνος Ἑρμίνωι φίλωι
