αι στεγανόμια παρεσχηκότων τῇ παιδὶ ὁ μὲν Ἱέραξ διεβεβαιώσατο ἐπὶ χρόνον ᾠκηκέναι, στεγανόμια δὲ παρεσχηκέναι Θαήσει τινί· ὁ δὲ Θώνιος ἐν τάξει κηδεμόνος φαίνεται ἑστηκώς. Ἀμμώνιος ῥήτωρ εἶπεν· ἡμεῖς ἐπριάμεθα τὸ οἰκόπεδον· δειξάτω βίαν. ἀλλʼ οὐδὲν ἐδείχθηἐδίχθη τῶν ἐπὶ τοῦ ὧν ἐδίδαξαν τὸ μεγαλεῖον τοῦ κυρίου μου διασημοτάτου ἐπάρχου πεπραγμένων τῆς Αἰγύπτου. εἶπεν· ἐπειδὴ προσέταξεν ὁ κύριός μου διασημότατος ἔπαρχος τῆς Αἰγύπτου Φλάουιος Λαῖτος εἰ εὑρεθείη ἡ παῖς ἐκ συμφώνου ἐκβληθεῖσα τῆς οἰκίαςοἰκείας ταύτης εἰσάξαι εἰς τὴν νομὴν, ἐπεὶ τ τουτ προγενομενο καὶ ἕτερά τινα δίκαι περὶ δεσποτείαςδεσποτίας ἀμφότερα μέρη κατέθετο, ἔτι τῶν χρόνων ἐνδιδόντων δύνασθεδυνασθαι ατω ἀναδιδάξαι καὶ ὅρου τυχεῖν παρὰ τῆς ἡμετέρας μετριότητος. τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, πρὸς τῷ ἉδριανείῳἉδριανίῳ. ἐπὶ παρόντοςπαροντων Παύλου προσθυραίουπροσθυρέου, ἐπὶ Ἀσκληπιάδου Διονυσοδώρου βουλευτοῦ διαιτητοῦ. Ἀμμώνιος ῥήτωρ εἶπεν· Ὡριγένης πρὸς ἀντιδίκους Ἀρτεμιδώραν καὶ κληρο νόμους Εου. ὡς μὲν διαιτητὴς εἶ ἡμῖν αἱρουμένοις καὶ τοῖς ἀντιδίκοις τοῦτο οὐ μόνον διδάσκει ὁ παρὼν λόγος ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰ ἐπιστάλματα τοῦ ἀξιολο γωτάτου πρυτάνεως πε ἐπειδὴ δὲ ἀπʼ ἐκείνης τῆς ἡμέρας καθʼ ἣν ἐπεστάλης σήμερον χρόνοι πληροῦνται, διὰ τοῦτο πάρεσμεν ἀξιοῦντες ἐπισημήνασθαι μὲν τὴν ἀπόλειψινἀπόλιψιν τὴν τῶν ἀντιδίκων, συνχωρῆσαι δὲ ἡμῖν τὰ αἴτια τῆς ὑποθέσεως εἰπεῖν. ὁ δι αιτητὴς εἶπεν· δεῖξον πότε ἐπεστάλην διαιτητὴς γενέσθαι ὑμῶν.
