κυρίῳ μου υἱῷ Δωροθέῳ Χαιρήμων. τοῦ φρουροῦ Βαρούσιος ἀπαντή σαντος πρὸς ἐμὲ καὶ εἶπέν μοι εἶναι παρὰ σοὶ καὶ ἐξήτασα αὐτὸν περὶ τῶν ἀπὸ Ταμπεμοὺ ἐπειδὴἐπιδὴ ἐζή τησα τοὺς κωμάρχας ἐπὶ τῆς πόλεως καὶ οὐχ εὗρον αὐτοὺς εἰ μὴ μόνους τοὺς δύο τοὺς κατακλείστουςκατακλίστους καὶ ἐγὼγὼ ἐνόμι ζον αὐτοὺς ἐκβάντας καὶ ἐξήτασα αὐτὸν καὶ εἶπενἶπεν μὴ εἶναιἶναι παρὰ σοί. ἐὰν οὖν μάθῃς ὅτι οὐκ ἐξέβησαν ἀλλὰ ἔτι ἐπὶ τῆς πόλεως αὐτοὺς εἶναιἶναι καὶ ἐὰν μάθῃς τὸ αἴτιονἔτιον διὰ τί οὐκ ἐξέβη σαν καὶ εἰἠ ἡ πρόφασις αὕτη, τὸ κα τακλεῖσαίκατακλῖσαίκαταβλισαι με δύο ὅτι οὐκ ἐξέβαινονἐκβενον εἰ μὴ οἱ ἄλλοι ἀπολυθῶσιν, τὰς γυ ναῖκαςγυνε͂κας αὐτῶν ἀνένεγκονἀνένεκκον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν καὶ ἔνκλεισονἔνκλισον ἵναεἵνα οἱ ἄρσε νες ἀπολυθῶσιν, ὥστε νομίζω εἰ μὴ μωρὰ μωροῖςμωριις τῇοη αἰκίᾳἐκήᾳ σου περιπασιν· εἰ δὲ τὸ ἔργον ὁδεύ ει παρὰ σοὶ καὶ ἂνκἂν μὴ ἐκβῶσι ἀπαί τησον. γράψον μοι οὖν περὶ τού του· ἡ γὰρ ψελλὶς τοῦ λάκκου μου ἔπε σεν καὶ ιλος με διώκειδιώκι καὶ διὰ τὴν ἀνάγκηνἀνάκκην ἐξέβην. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔ χομαι πολλοῖς χρόνοις. κυρίῳ μου υἱῷ Δωροθέῳ Χαιρήμων Χωοῦτος δηναρίων μυριάδες μ ὁμοίωςὁμοίος δηναρίων μυριάδες χ .
