Πανεχώτης Ἡφαιστίωνι τῶι καὶ Σαραπίωνι τῷ τιμιωτάτῳτειμιωτάτωι χαίρειν· φθάνω μέν σοι δεδηλω κὼς ἣν ἔχω πρὸς σὲ στοργήν· καὶ νῦν δὲ σοῦ δέομαι, κύριε, μὴ περιιδεῖν μου τὴν ἀξίωσιν· τῷ γὰρ ἀναδιδοῦν τί σοι τὸ ἐπιστόλιον ἔδωκα δημοσιώ σεις δύο καὶ τούτων τὰς ἐπιστολὰς καὶ δραχμὰς λβ· τὸν οὖν τούτων χρηματισ μὸν εὐθέως, καθὼς ἔθος ἔχεις, ἀπαρ τίσας δώσεις αὐτῷ ἢ ᾧ ἐὰν δοκιμάσῃς ἑτέρῳ ἀσφαλεῖ εἰς τὴν Διδύμου τράπεζαν πρὸς τῇ βιβλιοθήκῃβιβλιοθῃ ἢ εἰς τὸ Ἡρακλείδου νομο γραφεῖοννομογραφῖον· ὅ τι οὖν ἐὰν ἀναλώσῃς δηλώ σεις· ἐὰν δέ τι ἐνδέῃ εἰς τὰ γραμματικά, δώσει σοι ὁ φίλος καὶ τοῦτο αὐτῷ ἀπο καταστήσω· ἔρρωσό μοι, κύριε, πανοικη σίᾳ.
