Ἥρων Διδύμωι τῶι τιμιωτάτωιτειμιωτάτωι χαίρειν. Πτολεμαῖος ἀρχιγραμματεὺς ἔγραψέ μοι παρακαλέσαι σὲ ὅπως σκυλῇς εἰς Διονυσιάδα καὶ ἐπιθέματα τριπόδων τρικλινικῶντρικλεινικῶν καὶ αὐτῷ φίλου ἀναγκαίου ἐπιθεμένου ἀγορά σας διαπέμπῃς αὐτῷ. καὶ εἰδὼς ὅτι ποιήσεις ἔγραψά σοι ποιήσεις ἀλλὰ. ἀλλὰ τάχιοντάχειον ποιῆσαι παρακαλῶ, ἐπειδὴ καὶ ἐρωτῶνἐρωτω ἡμῖν ὁ φίλος ἐπιβαρεῖ. νο μίζω δὲ τὴν δέησινδεηνσιν αὐτοῦ μὴ εἶναί σοι φορ τικὴν φίλῳ σου ὄντι. ἔπεμψα δέ σοι καὶ τὰ παρʼ αὐτοῦ γράμματα. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι, κύριέ μου. Διδύμωι ἀπὸ Ἥρωνος.
