Αὐρήλιος Σαραπίων Αὐρηλίῳ Κλαυδίωι τῶι πατρὶ πολλὰ χαίρειν. καθὼς καὶ παρόνταπαροντι σεσοι κατʼ ὄψιν ᾐτησάμην εἰς ἃς μέλλω χρί εινχρίιν ἡμέρας ἐλαίου μετρητὰς τεσσαράκοντα , οὓς καὶ καθʼ ἣν ἔχεις πρὸς ἐμὲ ἀγαθὴν προαί ρεσιν ὑπέσχου, νῦν οὖν τῆς χρείας με κατεπειξάσης σοὶ θαρρῶν ἔσχον παρὰ φίλων ἐν χρήσει τοὺς μετρητὰς τεσσαράκοντα ἐπὶ τῷ αὐτοὺς ἀποκαταστῆσαι. ἀναγκαίως οὖν, ἐὰν ἔτι παρὰ σεαυτῷ χρῖον ἔχῃς, δήλωσον ἢ τῷ υἱῶι σου ἢ ᾧ ἐὰν σὺ βού λῃ τούτους μοι ἐν τάχει παρασχεῖν, πρὸς τὸ καὶ ἐμὲκἀμὲ ἀποκαταστῆσαι τοῖς εὐχρη στήσασί μοι φίλοις, τῆς τι μῆς ἐξαυτῆς μεταβαλλο μένης ὑπʼ ἐμοῦ ᾧ ἐὰν δο κιμάσῃς. ἀλλʼ ὅρα μὴ ἀμελή σῃς, μὴη δόξω διαβάλλειν τοὺς ἀνθρώπους. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι κατὰ νοῦννου διάγοντα. Αὐρηλίῳ Κλαυδίωι παρὰ Αὐρηλίου Σαραπίωνος γυμνασιάρχου.
