Πλουτογένια τῇ μητρί μου πολλὰ χαίρειν. πρὸ μὲν πάντων εὔχομαί σε ὁλοκληρεῖνὁλοκληρῖν παρὰ τῷ κυρίῳ θεῷ. ἤδη ὀκτὼ μῆνες ἀφʼ ἧς εἰσῆλθα εἰς Ἀλεξάνδριαν, οὐδὲ μίαν μοι ἐπιστολὴν ἔγραψας. πάλι οὖν οὐκ ἐχειςἐχις με ὡς θυγατέραθυγατέραν σου ἀλλὰ ὡς ἐχθράν σου. τὰ χαλκώματα τὰ ἔχειςἔχιςτχις παρὰ σοί, δὸς αὐτὰ Ἀτᾶτι καὶ σὺ αὐτὰ παράλαβε ἀπʼ αὐτῆς Ἀτᾶ πλήρης. καὶεαι γράψον μοι πόσον κέρμα ἔλαβες παρὰ Κουπινήρι καὶ μὴ ἀμελήσῃς. πρόσεχε τῇ μηχανῇμεχανῇ καὶ τοῖς κτῆσίκτῆσεί σου, μὴ ὀκνήσῃς καὶ μὴ θελήσῃς σκυλῆ ναι ἐὰν δὲ μέλλῃ ἡ θυγάτηρ σου γαμῆσαι γράψον μοι καὶ ἔρχομαι ἐγώ. ἀσπάζομαί σε μετὰ τῶν τέκνων σου. ἀσπάζομαι καὶ τοὺς φιλοῦντας ἡμᾶς κατʼ ὄνομαονομαι. ἐρρῶσθαι ὑμᾶς εὔχομαι πολλοῖς χρόνοις. ἀπόδος τῇ μητρί μου παρὰ ΠλουτογενίαςΠλουτογενια θυγατρὸςθυγατρι.
