Ἱεροκλῆς Νικάνορι χαίρειν. εἰ ἔρρωσαι καὶ ἐν τοῖς λοιποῖς ἀπαλλάσσεις κατὰ νοῦν, εὖ ἂν ἔχοι. ὑγιαίνω δὲ καὶ αὐτός. Ἀπολλόδωρος ὁ ἀποδιδούςἀποδιδου σοι τὰ γράμματά ἐστιν ἡμῶν φίλος, ἀναπλεῖ δὲ εἰς Ἡρακλέους πόλιν. ἔστιν γὰρ αὐτῶι ἐκεῖ κλῆρος. συνετάξαμεν δὲ αὐτῶι καταγαγεῖν ἡμῖν ἱμάτιά τινα. σὺ οὖν καλῶς ἂν ποιήσαις ὑπὲρυρ αὐτοῦ γράψας πρὸς δην καὶ Λυσίμαχον ὅπως ἂν γράψωσιν ὑπὲρ αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὴν η καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ δὲ ὅπως ἂν εὐγνωμόνωςεπιγνωμονως χρήσωνται. καὶ ἐὰν χρείανχρεαν ἔχηι κερματίου ἵνα πλείους ἡμέρας ἐνδημῆι, δὸς αὐτῶι. γέγραφα δὲ καὶ πρὸς Ζήνωνα ἐπιστολὴν περὶ αὐτοῦ. προσάγαγε οὖν αὐτόν. ταῦτα δὲ ποιῶν σφόδρα μοι χαριεῖ. γράφε δὲ σὺ ὧν ἂν χρείαν ἔχηις. πάντα γάρ σοι ποιήσομεν ἐκθύμως.
