παρά γράμματα ἐποίησεν πρὸς με ὁ εὐλαβέστατος Ἄτα Κόλλουθος ὁ πρεσβύτερος ὁ ὢν ἐν τῷ ὄρειερει Ὀξυρύγχων φανερὰν δύναμιν περιέχοντα, ἃ μαθήσεται σοῦ ἡ ἀδελφότης συντυχίας σὺν θεῷ γιγνομένης πρὸς τὴν αὐτοῦ εὐλάβειαν τῆς σῆς ἀρετῆς. καὶ ἀντέγραψα τῇ αὐτοῦ θεοσεβείᾳ διὰ Μακαρίου συμμάχου ἡμῶν πεμφθέντος ἐν τῇ Ὀξυρυγχιτῶν μετὰ τῶν παιδαρίων τοῦ ἐλλογιμωτάτου Σαραπίωνος τοῦ σχολαστικοῦ. καταξιώσῃ οὖν περιεργάσασθαι καὶ ποιῆσαι ἀποδοθῆναι τὰ γράμματα καὶ ἀπόκρισιν αἰσίαν δέξασθαιἄξασθαι καὶ ἀντιγραφῆναι ἁρμοδίως καί, εἰ δέῃ, λαβεῖν τὸτ ἀσφαλὲς πρὸς τὰ γραφέντα αὐτῷ παρʼ ἐμοῦ καὶ πάλιν δοῦναι καὶ πλὴν τῆς σῆς φρονήσεως γράμματα πεμφθῆναί μοι πρὸς τὸτω μὲτά με ἁρμόσασθαι πρὸς τὰ γραφόμενα παρʼ αὐτῆς κελεύειν καὶ ἐπιτάττειν ἂν οἷς χρεία τῶν ἐνταῦθα. μὴ ὀκνήσῃς, δέσποτα. ἐπίδος τῷ δεσπότῃ μου τῷ τὰ πάντα θαυμασιωτάτῳ καὶ ἐναρετῷ ἀδελφῷ Φοιβάμμωνι βοηθῷ ἀβάκτιςΑβακ παρά Ἀπφοῦτος.
