βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Κράτεια, τῶν ἐκ τῆς Ἀλεξάνδρου νήσου. ἀδικοῦμαι ὑπὸ Φιλίππου καὶ Διονυσίου. τοῦ γὰρ ἐμοῦ ἀδελφοῦ Ἀπολλοδότου συνθιασιτεύοντος αὐτοῖς μετωυδιος τῶι Μάρωνος, ὄντες ὃ μὲν ἱερεύς, ὃ δὲ ἀρχιθιασίτης, τελευτήσαντος τοῦ Ἀπολλοδότου, πρὸς τῶι μήτε θάψαι μήτε ἐξακολουθῆσαι αὐτῶι κατὰ τὸν θιασιτικὸν νόμον, οὐδὲ τὸ γινόμενον αὐτῶι ταφικὸν ἀποδεδώκασιν. δέομαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, εἴ σοι δοκεῖ, προστάξαι Διοφάνει τῶι στρα τηγῶι ἐπαναγκάσαι ἀποδοῦναί μοι τὸ ταφικόν. τούτου γὰρ γενομένου, ἔσομαι διὰ σέ, βασιλεῦ, τοῦ δικαίου τετευχυῖα. εὐτύχει. ἐπισκεψάμενος τὸν θιασιτικὸν νόμον, ἐπανάγκασον τὰ δίκαια ποιῆσαι ἐὰν δέ τι ἀντιλέγωσιν, ἀπόστειλον αὐτοὺς πρὸς ἡμᾶς. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου κη, Τῦβι ιβ. ἔτους α, Γορπιαίου κη, Τῦβι ιβ.
