παρὰ μὰ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ Χριστοῦ, ἐὰν μὴ παραδώσῃςπαραδόσῃς τοὺς γεωργοὺς πρὸς τὴν γνῶσιν Μακαρίῳ τῷ ποιμένι, οὐδεὶς παρέχει ταῦτα εἰ μὴ ἡ σὴ ἀδελφότης. Θεὸς γὰρ οἶδεν, πάνυ ὠλιγώρησενὀλιγώρησεν ὁ λαμπρότατος κύριος Μηνᾶς περὶ τοῦ ποιμένος ἐλθόντοςἐλθότος καὶ εἰπόντοςεἰποτος αὐτῷ, καὶ τὴν ἀγανάκτησιν σκευάζει ἥνπερ ὡς ὁ Θεὸς οἶδεν ὀκνῶ πιστεῦσαι. πείθωπείσω γὰρ ἐμαυτὸν ὅτι οὐκ ἀνέχεται πρᾶγμα λυποῦντα ὑμᾶς ἢ ζημιοῦντα ποιῆσαι χαρίσαι οὖν καὶ εαυτω καὶ μιμασι καὶ παράδος τοὺς γεωργοὺς πρὸς τὴν γνῶσιν τὴν πεμφθεῖσάν σοι παρʼ ἐμοῦ ἵνα ἀπαλλάχθῃς τῆς θλίψεως ταύτης. τὸν δὲ κοινὸν ἀδελφὸν Ἀπολλον διὰ τὸν Θεὸν παραυτὰ πέμψατέ μοι μετὰ τῶν προσώπων ἐπίδος τῷ ἀδελφῷ Διοσκόρῳ Ἀπολλῶτος πρωτοκωμήτῃ Ἰωάννης
