εφ κπἐκ παντὸς ἀναχθεὶς οὐκ οἶδ ἄνθ ὅτου νῦν ὑβρινὑβρισμενος οὐ τη οὐ την τυχοῦσαν ἐν μέσηι τῆι τοιαύτηι πόλει, ἐν ἧι ἄρχων καὶ δικαδιλι πακαπάντα κατὰ τοὺς νόμους πρχσιπραχθεισι γίγνεταίδιοικειται τε καὶ παιτε καὶ πράττεται νευ ἄρχοντοςΝεστορίου ἄρχοντος, οὗ τὸ ἀμίμητον τῆς κρίσεως ἐν διαφόροις ἔθνεσι καὶ πάλαι καὶ νῦν ἡ πεῖρα ἔδειξεν. τὸ δὲ πρᾶγμα, δέσποτα, τοιοῦτόν ἐστιν· ἀδελφός τις ἐμὸς Ἁρποκρατίων ἀνὴρ ἐλλόγιμος ἀπὸ τῆσδε τῆς πόλεως εἰς ὑπερορίους ἀποδημίας στειλά μενος κατέλειπεν ἀνδράποδα παρ’ ἐμοὶ ἐνταυθοῖ τότε διατρίβοντι. ἀπερ χόμενος δὲ τότε εἰς Θηβαίδα παρεθέμην ταῦτα Κόμωνί τινι Ἀλεξαν δρεῖ φίλωι ὄντι ἐκείνου, ὅπως ἐπανελθόντι τῶι ἀδελφῶι ἀποκατα στήσηιἐπανελθὼν ἐκεῖνος ἀπολάβηι. προσε δόκων γὰρ τὴν ἐκείνου ἐπάνοδον μετὰ βραχύν τινα γενήσεσθαι χρό νον. ἐν δὲ τῆι ἀποδημίαι ἐκεῖνος γενόμενος καὶ ἀπὸ χώρας εἰς χώραν ἑκάστοτε μεταβαίνων διὰ τὴν τῶν λόγων ἀφορμήν νἀλλὰ ν δίκαιον τοισοι πρλεσθαιπροβαλέσθαι ητε γει αποπαἀπὸ Πανὸς ἀπὸ παντ
