ιστωη βαιΘηβαι πρὸς τὸν κατὰ Θηβαίδα ἐπίτροπον ὑπὸ τοῦ κυρίου μου Σισιννίου διὰ τοῦ Εὐγενείου τούτου ἀπεστάλη, ὅπως, εἰ εὑρεθείη τις Ἄμμων ἀδελφὸς Ἁρποκρατίωνος ἐν τῆι Πανοπολιτῶν πόλει, ἐπειχθῇ ἀπαντᾶν εἰς Ἀλεξάνδρειαν διὰ ταῦτα τὰ ἀνδράποδα. ὁ δὲ ἐπίτροπος ἐπιστείλας τοῖς Πανοπολίταις τοῦ κυρίου μου Σισιννίου γράμματα ἐδέξατο παρὰ τούτων ἀναφορὰν δηλοῦσαν Ἄμμωνα ἀδελφὸν Ἁρποκρατίωνος μετὰ Εὐγενίου ἀπηντηκέναι εἰς Ἀλεξάνδρειαν. ἀλλʼ ἐπειδὴ ουτο ἐκεῖνος ὁ Εὐγένιος ἐν τῇ Πανοπολιτῶν πόλει γενόμενος ἔγνω τοῦ πράγματος τὴν ἀκρίβειανἀκρείβειαν, λοιπὸν εἰς ἄλλο τι ἐτράπη. φίλων γὰρ μεταξὺ γενομένων κατὰ τὴν τούτου ἀξίωσιν καὶ τοῦ μὲν Εὐγενίου λμἀναλώματα καὶ καμάτους οὐκ ὀλίγους προβαλλομένου, ἕως ἂν δυνηθῆι τὰ ἀνδρά ποδα ἀεὶ δρασμὸν εἰς νοῦν εἰληφότα συλλαβεῖν καὶ εἰς ταῦτα ὑ εἰς ταῦτα ὑπὸ φρουρὰν συσχεῖν, τούτου δὲ τοῦ Ἄμμωνος τὸ τῆς δεσποτείας καὶ τὸ τῆς τούτου κληρονομίας δίκαιον ἀντιτιθέντος ἐδικαιώθη ὑπὸ τῶν μεταξὺ γενομένων φίλων δοξάσαντα συνδοξάσαντα καὶ κεκμηκότα ἐδικαιώθη ὑπὸ τῶν μεταξὺ
