Ἀφροδείσιος Σεμπρωνίῳ τῷ τιμιω τάτῳτ φιλτάτῳ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. ἔγραψάς μοι πε ρὶ τοῦ παιδίου ὡς μὴ εἰδὼς ὅτι μα ἐσ τὶν καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀσφαλίσασθαι τὴν εἰληφέναι αὐτὴν μεθʼ ἃ αὐτὸ βαστάξαι ἀπʼ αὐτῆς σοι ἔκτοτε ὅτι ἂν θέλῃς ἀ ἡμ τον ἐπερηαμοιος οκ πρὸς καιρὸν οὐδένα μοναχόν· σὺ μὲν καλῶς ἐ ποίησας μνημονεύων αὐτῶν, εἶδαςοἶδες δὲ ὅτι οὐδὲ ἐγὼ μεμπτός εἰμι, δέδωκα δὲ καὶ μτου καὶ αι οὐκ ἐξῆλθε, ἐὰν δὲ ἐξέλθῃ δύνομαι ἐν τάχει πρὸς σὲ γενέσθαι. καλῶς οὖν ποι ήσειςποιήσις οὗ ἔπρασσες καὶ προσεῖχες τοῖς ἡμετέροις υν τὸ αὐτὸ πράσσειν τοῦ φόρου ὅτι ἕως Φαμενὼθ σεσιον φόρον, μάθε δὲ τ ἐργολαβήσας αὐτὴν καὶ δήλωσόν μοι ἐν τάχει· ἀναγκαίως ἐκο μισάμην παρὰ γατρακνημιας κ. διὰ τί δὲ κατὰ τὸ ἔθος ἐλθοῦσα οὐκ ἦλθε εἰς οἶκον, ἀλλὰ ἔδειξε ἀρχὴν διασχισμοῦ; καλῶς οὖν ποιήσεις, ἐὰν εὕρῃς ἀφορμὴν διαγραψάμενος τὸ κερμά τιον ἵνα μήτε ἐάν τίς σοι ἐνέγκῃ τὸ σημην. εικερσικωδω εἰς αὐτά. ἀσπάζομαι τὴν λαιαλεκμκτεινον καὶ τὴν σύμ βιον αὐτοῦ απαρ ὑμᾶς ἀσπάζεται πάνταςπάντες κατʼ ὄνομα καὶ ἡμεῖς σοι πάντες ἀσπαζόμεθαἀσπαζονται ὑ μᾶς. ἐρρῶσθαι ὑμᾶς εὔχομαι.
