Σερῆνος Ταψάϊτι τῇ μητρὶ χαίρειν. καὶ ἄλλοτέ σοι ἔγραψα δηλῶσαί μοι εἴ τί σοι Πανίσκος ἐλθὼν τότε ἔδωκε χαλκοῦ, καὶ εἰ ἀπήρτισας τὰ ἱμάτια, καὶ πόσον ἐδαπάνησας. μὲ δὲ μὴ μέμψαι. τοσαυτάκις γὰρ ἐμοῦ γρά ψαντος αὐτῷ, οὐδὲ διὰ λόγων μοῦ ἐμνήσθηἐμνησθην. ἐξ ὧν ἔπεμψα δυεῖν στάμνων σμήματος δὸς ἕνα Ἁρποκρατιαίνῃ. νῦν γὰρ ἐμνήσθην ὅτι αὐτῆς ἐμοῦ ἐξερ χομένουεχξερχομεν περὶ τούτου μοι ἐπέθετο. καὶ ἀναγνωσθήτω αὐτῇ τοῦτο τὸ μέρος τῆς ἐπιστολῆς, ἵνα μὴ δόξῃ με ἠμεληκέναι. ἄσπασαι τοὺς ἡ μῶν πάντας. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι μῆτερ.
