? Μεσορὴ ιβ. Φλάουϊος λογιστῇ ὈξυρυγχίτουὈξυρυγχείτου χαίρειν. ἐπεὶ μὲν ἡ τοῦ κυρίου μου τοῦ διασημοτάτου δουκὸς Φλαουΐου Οὐαλακίου ἐξουσία τῇ ἐμῇ μετριότητι ἐκέλευσεν ὅλα τὰ κάστρα τὰ ὄντα ἐπὶ τῆσδε τῆς ἐπαρχείου ἐπιθεωρῆσαὶ με καὶ οἱασδή ποτε ἐπισκευῆς ἢ ἀνανεώσεωςἀνανεώσαιως λιπεῖν τινα κάστρα εὕροιμι ίας τινὸς εἰς γνῶσιν αὐτοῦ ἀνενεγκεῖν, ἐπιθεω ρήσας δὲ καὶ τὰ κάστρα Ψώβθεως ὑπὸ Ἡρακλειανὸν ἔπαρχον εὗρον τὰ τείχητίχη κονιάσεωςκονιάσαιως δέεσθαι, διεβεβαιώσαντο δὲ τεχνίτην μὴ ἔχειν, διὸ γραφῆναι τῇ σῇ ἀγχινοίᾳ ἀναγκαῖον ἐνό μισα ἵνα τον τεχνίτηντεχνείτην πρὸς ὀλίγας ἡμέρας μετὰ ἐπείκτουἐπίκτου ἀποστείλῃς αὐτοῖς κατὰ τὴν προτέραν πρὸς τὸ μηδεμίαν πρόφασιν τοις περὶ τούτου δυνηθείη. opto bene ualeas per multos annos viris clarissimis consulibus.
