Χαιρέας Διονυσίῳ τῷ κυρίῳ πατρὶ χαίρειν. ἀναγκαῖον ἡγησάμην εἶναι σοι δηλοῦν σοι τὰ περὶ Σερήνου πεπραγμένα. τὸ μὲν οὖν ἀκριβὲςἀκρειβὲς Ῥοδόπη σοι δηλώσει. δεδεήμεθα ταῦτα πρὸς αὐτὸναὐτὼν καὶ τέλος ἐπένευσεν καὶ ἀπέλυσεν ἡμᾶς εἰδὼς τὰ μετʼ αὐτά, οὔπω μέντοι εἰς διαλλαγὰς ἐλθεῖν ἠθέ λησεν, οὐδὲ περὶ συνγραφῆς λόγον πεποίηται, σὲ περιμένων. διὰ τοῦτο οὖν σοῦ δεόμεθα ἵνα αὐτῷ περὶ τούτων συμβου λεύσῃς. σοῦ γὰρ μᾶλλον ἢ ἡμῶν ἀκούσεται. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι. Διονυσίῳ πατρὶ γυμνασιαρχ.
