π τὰ ἀποσταλέντα μοι παρὰ τῆς ὑμῶν μεγαλοπρεπείας διὰ ἸούστουἸόστου τοῦ παιδὸς τῆς σῆς μεγαλοπρεπείας ἐδεξάμην, λέγω δὴ οἴνου κνίδια εἴκοσι καὶ σπαθία εἴκοσι καὶ κνίδια μέλιτος τρία καὶ στάγματος τρία καὶ ὑδρίας ἄρτων πέντε καὶ κύθραν βουκίου μίαν, καὶ πολλοῖς χρόνοις καὶ καλοῖς τὴν ὑμῶν μεγαλοπρέπειαν μετὰ τοῦ ἀφθόνου ὑμῶν οἴκου. ἐπειδὴ αἱ προσκυνοῦσαι τὴν ὑμετέραν μεγαλοπρέπειαν καὶ τὰ παιδία ἀρρωστοῦσιν, ὡς ἔθος ἔχει τὸ ὑμῶν μέγεθος χαρίζεσθαί μου τοῦ λογαρίου. ἀποστείλῃ μοι τὸ ὑμῶν μέγεθος στρογγύλιον ῥαφανελαίουῥεφαναιελαίουῥεφαναιελαίου, l. ῥαφανελαίου . οὐκέτι δὲ ἐφρόντισενἐφρόντεισεν τὸ σὸν μέγεθος περὶ τοῦ ταπητίουταπιτίου τοῦταπιτιούχου, l. ταπητιούχου πώλουΠαύλου τῆς σῆς δὲ μεγαλοπρεπείας δούλου Μακαρίουμακαρίου. ἐπίδος τῷ δεσπότῃ μου τὰ πάντατῷ πάντων μεγαλοπρεπεστάτῳ κόμετι καὶ ἐμῷ προστάτῃ Ἰωάννῃ παρὰ Θεοφίλου πολιτευομένουπολίτου.
