Ἁρφαήσι κωμογραμματεῖ Καρανίδος παρὰ Ἀμμωνίου Ἁρπαγάθου τοῦ Ἡρᾶ μητρὸς ΣεγάθιοςΣεγᾶθιςΣεγάθεωσ ἀπὸ κώμης Κα ρανίδος· ἀπογράφομαι ἐμαυτὸν καὶ τοὺς ἐμοὺς εἰς τὴν τοῦ διεληλυθότος κγκε ἔτους θεοῦ Ἀντωνείνου κατʼ οἰκίαν ἀπογραφήν, εἰς ἣν καταγείνομαι ἐν τῇ κώμῃ, Θαισαρίου οἰκίαν καὶ αὐλήν· εἰμὶ δὲ Ἀμμώνιος ὁ προγεγραμμένος ἐτῶν λϛ ἄσημος καὶ τὴν γυναῖκά μου Θαισάριον Ἀν τωνίουἈντῶνοςἈέχτωνος ἐτῶν κθ ἄσημον καὶ τὸ ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων ἡμῶν θυγατέρα Σευθάριον ἐτῶν θ ἄσημον· ὑπάρχειὑπάρχι δὲ τῇ γυναικί μου Θαισα ρίῳ τῇ προγεγραμμένῃ ἐν τῇ κώμῃ οἰκία καὶ αὐλή· διὸ ἐπιδίδωμι. ἔτους α Ἀντωνείνου Καίσαρος τοῦ κυρίου καὶ Οὐήρου Καίσαρος τοῦ κυρίου Ἐπεὶφ ιγ.

An Harphaêsis, den Dorfschreiber von Karanis, von Ammônios, Sohn des Harpagathês, des Sohnes des Hêras, und der Mutter Segath[is], aus dem Dorf Karanis. Ich melde mich und die Meinen für die Haushaltsmeldung des vergangenen 23. Jahres des Gottes Antoninus für das Haus mit Hof der Thaïsa[ri]on, in dem ich im Dorf ansässig bin. 9 Ich bin der oben genannte A[mmôn]ios, 36 Jahre (alt), ohne Kennzeichen, und (ich melde auch) meine Ehefrau Thaïsarion, Tochter des Anton[i]u[s] , 29 Jahre (alt), ohne Kennzeichen, und die gemeinsame Tochter Seutharion, 9 Jahre (alt), ohne Kennzeichen. Meiner oben genannten Ehefrau Thaïsarion gehört im Dorf ein Haus mit Hof. Hiermit reiche ich (die Meldung) ein. Im 1. Jahr des Antoninus Caesar, des Herren, und des Verus Caesar, des Herren, am 13. Epeiph.

To Harphaesis, village scribe of Karanis from Ammonios, son of Harpagathes, the son of Heras, mother Segath[is], from the village of Karanis. I register myself and my (family) for the house-by-house registration of the past 23rd year of the God Antoninus, for Thaisarion’s house and courtyard in the village, which I live in. I am A[mmon]ios the above mentioned, 36 years old without a distinguishing mark and (I register) my wife Thaisarion, daughter of Anton[i]u[s] , 29 years old without a distinguishing mark and Seutharion daughter of both of us, 9 years old without a distinguishing mark. There belongs to my wife Thaisarion, the aforementioned, a house and courtyard in the village. Therefore I submit (this registration). Year 1 of Antoninus Caesar, the lord, and Verus Caesar, the lord, Epeiph 13.
