We, Tesenouphis and Onnophris, both sons of [NN], the son of Setoes (?) , acknowledge that we have sold to Satabous, son of Chairas, the female, white-mouse coloured donkey, which belongs to us, on the spot, just as it is, unreturnable . And we have received the whole price agreed upon in full, forthwith, from hand to hand out of the house the sum of two hundred and sixty silver drachmas and we shall guarantee with every guarantee , as aforesaid. About this record's data
  • From the source institution — accession, description, dimensions, and dating are as catalogued by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
  • AI-inferred — the image-analysis panel (deities, names, signs) is machine-generated and may be wrong.
  • Approximate location — most map points are plotted at the site centroid, not the exact findspot.
  • Inferred links — cross-references marked with a match method other than explicit-source-field were matched by us, not stated by the source.
  • Inherited across the Trismegistos spine — a Trismegistos ID names one ancient text, and papyrology splits that text's description across databases: the edition in one, the date and provenance in another, the physical papyrus in a third. Fields tagged via … on this page were read from a sibling record under the same TM number, not asserted by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
