Σαραπίων τῷ πατρὶ χαίρειν. τὸ προσκύνημα ὑμῶν διὰ παντὸς ποιῶ καθʼ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν παρὰ τῷ κυρίῳ Σαράπιδι. πολλάκις σοι ἔγραψα καὶ σὺ οὐδὲ ἅπαξ μοι ἐδήλωσας περὶ τῶν ὄντων πραγμάτων. ἐὰν δέ σοι ἀνάγκη γένηται σίτουσείτου δώσει σοι ὁ παρα δούς σοι ταῦτά μου τὰ γράμμα τα, Ἀνδρόμαχος πάνυ τῶν σπουδαίων ὄντων φίλος· ἐνετειλάμην γὰρ αὐτῷ. διὸ οὖν ἐὰν ἀνάγκη γένηται μὴ ὀκνήσῃς προσελθεῖν αὐτῷ. ἀλλὰ καὶ γενοῦ εἰς Σενεκελεὺ καὶ μάθε τὸ τῶν ἐδαφῶν μὴ ἄρα ἠμέ λησεν ὁ Ἁράχθης. ἄσπασαιἄσπασε πολ λὰ τοὺς ἡμῶν πάντας κατʼ ὄνομα καὶ Ἐπα γαθῶν καὶ Σιλβανὸν καὶ τὴν τύχην τῆς οἰκίας. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι. προσδόκα τοῦ καὶ ἐμὲκἀμὲ ἐξελθεῖν ἀπὸ Ἀλεξανδρείας μέχρι ϛ τοῦ θεοῦ θέλοντος.
