οσοι δέξαι αὖ τὸ πλείω· ἐὰν γὰρ λε ἡμῖν οἰνάρια ἔχουσι εἰ δυνατόν μοι ἦν διατρέχειν πρὸς τὴν οἰκονομίαν τῶν ἡμετέρων, οὐκ ἂν ὠκνήκειν, ἀλλʼ ὅμως ὡς εἰ μὶ γυνὴ πᾶσαν σπουδὴν περιτίθε μαι. Ἐπαφρόδειτος ἕως τούτου οὐ δὲν ἀμελέστερον ποιεῖ, ἀλλὰ προσκαρ τερεῖ ἡμῖν καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς πράγμασί σου. ν θημ μι εξ ν διʼ ημνρ ἔλεγέν μοι διʼ ἐπιστο λῆς ἐστιν ἤδη ἐκδε γράψεις ἐγράψεις δὲ καὶ σὺ νειτηι ἵνʼ ἐπιγνοῖ σε σπουδά σαι εἰς πάντα. ἄρτι μὲν πλείστης τιμῆς ἐστιν ὁ οἶ νος καὶ πρὸς τρεῖς στατῆράς ἐστιν, οὗ χάριν οὐδεὶς ἀθυμεῖ πωλεῖν κτῆμα. ἐὰν δὲ ὁ θεὸς ἐπιτρέψῃ πολλὴν ῥύσιν ἔσεσθαι εἰς ἔτους, τάχα διὰ τὴν ἐσομέ νην εὐωνίαν τοῦ γενήματος ἀθυμή σουσι οἱ γεοῦχοι, διʼ ἣν ἕξομεν εὐω νεῖν κατʼ ἐπιθυμίαν σου. πέπεισμαι περὶ τῆς φροντίδος, ἧς ἐποίου περὶ τῆς σα σε ὑποδραμεῖν καὶ παραγράφειν αὐτούς. τοὺς φαι νούλας σου τεθεραπευμένους ἤνεγκεν ἤνεγκειν ἀπʼ Ἀλεξανδρείας Ἀπολ λώνιος ὁ ἀδελφός σου. δίκαιον δοκῶ εἶναί σε φίλον πᾶσι ὥσ περ καὶ ἦς τοῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ νομοῦ, ἵνα μετὰ φιλίας καὶ ἀπροσκό πως ἐξέλθωμεν ἀπʼ αὐτῶν ἐπʼ ἀγαθῶι. ἔρρωσο ἄδελφε.
