Στεφάνου ὀρχηστοπαλαιστοδιδάκτου εἰσελθόντος καὶ λέγον τος τοῖς μισθοῖς πεπληρῶσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν ἄλλων ἐνάρχων μό να νον δὲ τὸν ἀρχιερέα μὴ δεδωκέναι, ἐφώνησαν· τοὺς μι σθοὺς αὐτοῦ, ἀρχιερεῦ, οὐκ ἔνι στέμμασέμμα δωρεάν· Διονυσόδω ρος ἔναρχος ἀρχιερεὺς εἶπεν· μαρτυρήσει ὑμῖν· ἐφώνη σαν διὰ μεσ· ἀγορανομείτω, οὐκ ἔστι χρεία τῆς ἀρ χῆς. τοῦ ἀρχιερέως ἀναστάντος καὶ διὰ τῶν θεωμένων ἐλθόντος κατὰ μέσον τοῦ θεάτρου, ἐφώνησαν· Ἰσίδωρε ἡ βία παρρησίαπαρησία· τίς ὁ φθόνος τῆς εἰρήνης; τὸν ἀνα στάσεως ωνι ἔχεις αὐτόν· στρατηγέ, εἰρη νεύουσαν ατωσεν τὴν πόλιν μὴ δίχαζε· τίς ὁ φθόνος τῆς εἰρήνης; καταγραφέσθω ἐπὶ ἄλ λῃ ἡμέρᾳ ἀσεβείας ἔγκλημαἔνκλημα. τοὺς κυρίους κατέλειψενκατέλιψενκατελιπεν ὁ ἀρχιερεύς, συνεδρευόντων τῶν κυρίων αὐτὸς ἀνέστη· οὐκ ἔστι χρεία τῆς ἀρχῆς· αἱρετίαν ἀφ’ ἠμῶν ὁ αὐτὸς κατὰ θεωρίαν. μεθ’μετ’ ἕτερα λεχθέντα· ὁ πρύτανις εἶπεν· ε τατε τῇ κρατίστῃ βουλῇ μετὰ τοῦ νομίμου αὐτοῦ σκέψασθαι, τοὺς δὲ μισθοὺς Στεφάνου πάντως ὑπ’ ἐμοῦ καὶ τοῦ στρατηγοῦ ἀπαιτηθήσεται. ὠκεανὲ πρύτανι, ἀξία βουλὴ τῶν κυρίων, ἁγνὲ πιστὲ Ἰσίδωρε, εὐγενεῖς ἄρχοντες.
