Ἀρτεμίδωρος Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. εἰ ἔρρωσαι, εὖ ἂν ἔχοι· ἔρρωμαι δὲ καὶ ἐγὼ καὶ Ἀπολλώνιος ὑγίαινεν καὶ τὰ ἄλλαταλλ ἦν κατὰ γνώμην. τοῖς Λεπτίνου υἱοῖς Νικάνδρωι καὶ Μυρικῶντι ἐνἐμ Φαρβαίθωι ἵππος ἐστὶν μέλας, παραπρήματα μεγάλα ἔχων καὶ ἐπʼ οὐθὲν ἄλλο χρήσιμος ὢν ἔξω εἰς ὀχείαν. πυνθάνομαι δέ σοι γνωρίμους εἶναι τοὺς νεανίσκους ἐπὶ πλέον. καλῶς ἂν οὖν ποιήσαιςποήσαις μάλιστα μὲν ἀγοράσας μοι παρʼ αὐτῶν τὸν ἵππον εἰς ὀχείαν, ἐὰν ἦι μικροῦ τινος λαβεῖν· εἰ δὲ μή ἐστιν πώλιμος, χρήσαιμαι αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἐπιοῦσαν ὀχείαν· ἐὰν γὰρ σπουδάσηις, οὐ μή σοι ἀντείπωσιν· ἐνἐμ πάσηι δὲ ἐπι μελείαι ἔσται. ὁποτέρως δʼ ἂν οἰκονομήσηις, χαριεῖ μοι γράψας τὴν ταχίστην, ἵνα εἰδῶ εἰ ὑπάρχει μοι. ὁ γὰρ παρʼ ἐμοὶ ἵππος πρεσβύτερος ἤδη ὢν οὐ κατακρατεῖ τὰς θηλείας. ἐπέστειλαἐπείστειλα δέ σοι καὶ περὶ τοῦ σησάμου τοῦ ἐμοι γεγονότος ἐν τῶι κλήρωι, ἵνα περί τε τῆς συγκομιδῆς σπουδάσηις, ὅπως συγκομισθῆι τρόπωι τινί, καὶ ἐμοὶ γράψηις πόσον γέγονεν. καὶ περὶ τούτων οὖνοὖμ μοι ἐπιστείλας καλῶς ἂν ποιήσαιςποήσαις. ἔρρωσο. ἔτους λβ, Ἀπελλαίου ε. ἔτους λβ. Ἀρτεμίδωρος εἰς Φιλαδέλφειαν. ἰατρός. Ζήνωνι.
