Φλαυίῳ Διοσκόρῳ Ἀπολλῶτος συντελεστῇ Ἰακῦβις Ἀβρααμίου πρεσβύτερος χαίρειν. ἔχω σου καὶ ὀφείλω, ὑπὲρ τιμῆς τοῦ φόρου, τῆς σπορᾶς καὶ τῆς ἀρδεύσεωςἀρτεύσεως, χρυσοῦ νομισμάτιον ἓν παρὰ κεράτια δύο χρυσοχοικῷ, γίνεται νομισμάτιον α παρὰ κεράτια β. καὶ τοῦτο ἑτοίμως ἔχω παρασχεῖν σοι ἐν τῇ δευτέρᾳ καταβολῇ τοῦ δημοσίου τῆς παρούσης τρεισκαιδεκάτηςτρισκαιδεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος. καὶ εἰς σὴν ἀσφάλειαν πεποίημαί σοι τοῦτο τὸ πιττάκιον ὡς πρόκειται. I have and I owe you for the price of the rent for the harvest and irrigation one gold solidus minus two carats of the goldsmith standard, i.e. 1 s(olidus) minus 2 c(arats). And I am ready to supply it to you on the second payment of taxes of the present thirteenth indiction. And for your security I have made this pittakion for you as above. Phaophi 21, 13th indiction.
