Φλαυίῳ Ἀβινναίῳ ἐπάρχῳ εἴλης στρατι ωτῶν κάστρων Διονυσιάδος παρὰ Φλαουίου Αὐνῆ οὐετρανοῦ τῶν ἐντίμωςἐντιμους ἀπολελυμένωνἀπολλυμένων γεουχοῦντοςγεουχοῦντι ἐν κώμῃ Ἑρμοῦ πόλειπόλι. πρὸ δʼ ὀλίγωνλιγων ἡμερῶν τούτων οὐκ οἶδαὖδα τίνι λόγῳλόγου καὶ λῃστρι κῷ τρόπῳ νυκτὸς χρησάμενοί τινες κακοῦ ργοι ἐπῆλθαν οἰκίᾳ μου καὶ εἴἤ τι εἶχον ἐν τῇ αὐτῇ οἰκίᾳ βαστάξαντες καὶ μέχρι δεῦροδεῦρου μηδὲν εὑρηκέναι με ἀπὸ τῶν συληθέν των. διὰ αὐτὸ τοῦτο ἀξιῶ καὶ δέομαί σου τῆς φιλανθρωπίας τὸντω εἰρήναρχον καὶ τοὺς δημοσίους τῆς αὐτῆς κώμης Ἑρμοῦ πόλε ως συλλαβόμενος καὶκαταναγκάσῃς αὐτοὺς τοὺς κακούργουςκακουργοις σοισυ παραστῆσαι, εἶτα τὰ γραφέντα ὑπὸὑπὲ ἐμοῦ εἰς γνῶσιν τοῦ κυρίου μου δουκὸς ἀνενέγκῃςἀνανικῃς, αὐτοῦ γάρ ἐστιν τοὺςτὰ τοιαῦτα τολμοῦνταςτολμοῦντες ἐκδικεῖνἐκδικῖν. καὶ τούτουτούτο τυχὼν χάρι τά σοι ὁμολογήσω, κύριε. διευτύχει.
