Ἱερωνύμωι τῶι ἀρχισωματοφύλακι καὶ στρατηγῶι παρὰ τῶν νυνὶ παρεφεδρευόντων ἐν Διὸς πόλει τῆι μικρᾶι ἀπὸ τῶν ἐν τῶι ἐν Πτολεμαίδι ὑπαίθρωι. πολλὰς χρείας μισθοφόρων ἱππέων παρεσχη μένων ἡμῶν ἤδη πολλάκις κατὰ τὸν πόλεμον καὶ κινδύνους μεγάλους ἐνηνοχότων ἐν τοῖς μάλιστʼ ἀναγκαιοτάτοις καιροῖς εἴς τε πᾶν τὸ παρανγελλόμενον προθύμως ἑαυτοὺς ἐπιδεδωκότων, καθῆκόν ἐστιν λαμβάνειν ἡμᾶς ὅσα καὶ τοῖς ἐκ τοῦ αὐτοῦ ἡμῖν ὑπαίθρου δίδοται, λαμβανόντων ἡμῶν τὸ μὲν σιτώνιον καθὼς νοι, ἐν δὲ τοῖς κατὰ τὰς ἀγορὰς καὶ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ εἰς τὴν κράστιν τῶν ἵππων ἐλαττουμένων ἡμῶν οὐ μόνον παρὰ τοὺς ἄλλους ἐν τῶι ἐν Πτολεμαΐδι ὑπαίθρωι ἱππεῖς, ἀλλὰ καὶ τοὺς τεταγμένους ἐν τοῖς Χηνοβοσκίοις τοῦ αὐτοῦ νομοῦ, ὡσαύτως δὲ καὶ παρὰ τοὺς πεζοὺς καὶ τοὺς ἐν τοῖς ἄλλοις τόποις τεταγμένους μισθοφόρους ἱππεῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ αὐτοῦ ἡμῖν ὑπαίθρου. ἡμεῖς γὰρ τῶν ἄλλων λαμβανόντων κατὰ μῆνα τὰς ἀγορὰς τοῦ γραμματεύσαντος οὐκ ἐκθέν τοςἐχθέντος α ἡμᾶς πράττοντος παρὰ πάντα τὰ δίκαια τὴν καταφυγὴν ἐπὶ σὲ πεποιή μεθα
