In der Nacht zum 12. wurde meine Tenne beim Dorf Ptolemaïs Nea von Leuten, die ich nicht kenne, in Brand gesteckt. Deshalb reiche ich diese Eingaben ein, damit sie zu den Akten genommen werden, so daß mein Anspruch gegen die Verursacher gewahrt wird, falls sie entdeckt werden. (2. Hand) Ich, Sabinus, habe (die Eingabe) eingereicht. (1. Hand) Im 32. Jahr des Lucius Aelius Aurelius Commodus Caesar, des Herren, am 14. Pachôn.

(m. 2) To Valerius Germanus, centurio , (m. 1) from [Sa]beinos, son of Sosimos from the metropolis , resident in the village of Karanis. On the night before the 12th my threshing floor near the village of Ptolemais Nea was set on fire by certain people, whom I do not know. Therefore I submit these petitions , so that it be entered on the register, in order that the persons found guilty may be held accountable to me. (m. 2) I, Sabeinos, have submitted (this petition). (m. 1) Year 32 of Lucius Aelius Aurelius Commodus Caesar, the lord, Pachon 14.
