Aurelios Heliodoros, son of Didymos, mother Alille, from the quarter of the Bithynians and other areas , acknowledges that he has sold to Aurelios Hatres, son of Aboch, mother Thermouthis, from the village of Arsinoe, a small, black donkey foal for the prices agreed upon between them of [x] silver drachmas , which the seller has received in full from hand to hand, on the spot, just as it is, unreturnable . The sale is normative and in answer to the formal question I gave my assent. (m. 2 ?) Year 15 and 14 and 7 of our lords Diocletianus and Maximianus, Augusti, and Constantius and Maximianus, nobilissimi Caesares, Thoth 9. (m. 3) I, Aurelios Kollas, have sold and received the price in full, as aforesaid. I, Aurelios Heron, wrote on his behalf, because he is illiterate.

About this record's data
  • From the source institution — accession, description, dimensions, and dating are as catalogued by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
  • AI-inferred — the image-analysis panel (deities, names, signs) is machine-generated and may be wrong.
  • Approximate location — most map points are plotted at the site centroid, not the exact findspot.
  • Inferred links — cross-references marked with a match method other than explicit-source-field were matched by us, not stated by the source.
  • Inherited across the Trismegistos spine — a Trismegistos ID names one ancient text, and papyrology splits that text's description across databases: the edition in one, the date and provenance in another, the physical papyrus in a third. Fields tagged via … on this page were read from a sibling record under the same TM number, not asserted by Papyri.info — DDbDP (Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri) — text.
