Farming agreement
Description
This fragment of an agreement concerns the farming of land at Sbennytus in the Fayum, one party belonging to the quarter of the Second Goosefarm at Arsinoe, the other perhaps to The Macedonians, also at Arsinoe. A note in cursive Greek, 12 lines, mainly illegible, at the left side of the papyrus, contains the name of Sbennytus and possibly [Dion]ysius.

About this record's data
- From the source institution — accession, description, dimensions, and dating are as catalogued by Papyri.info — APIS (Advanced Papyrological Information System) — papyri.
- AI-inferred — the image-analysis panel (deities, names, signs) is machine-generated and may be wrong.
- Approximate location — most map points are plotted at the site centroid, not the exact findspot.
- Inferred links — cross-references marked with a match method other than explicit-source-field were matched by us, not stated by the source.
- Inherited across the Trismegistos spine — a Trismegistos ID names one ancient text, and papyrology splits that text's description across databases: the edition in one, the date and provenance in another, the physical papyrus in a third. Fields tagged via … on this page were read from a sibling record under the same TM number, not asserted by Papyri.info — APIS (Advanced Papyrological Information System) — papyri.
