γράφω τῇ σῇ τιμιώτητιτιμιώτητι ἵνα μηδεμιᾶς οὔσης διαφορᾶς, ἵνα διὰ τοῦ πάκτωνοςπάκτονος τὰ εἴδη τὰ παρὰ τῷ μαγείρῳμαγίρῳ. οἶδας γὰρ καὶ ἂνκἂν μὴ γράψω ὅτι σὺν θεῷ καιρός ἐστιν τῶν χοιροθυσιῶνχυροθυσιῶν καὶ χρείαν ἔχομεν τῶν ἀρβελλαρίων καὶ τοῦ κορμίου καὶ τῆς θυείας. ὅλα γὰρ ἔχει. καὶ ὁ μάγειροςμάγιρος εἶπέν μοι ὅτι, ἐὰν ἀνέλθωμεν εἰς πόλιν, ἀγοράζομεν καὶ πέμπομέν σοι ταῦτα, καὶ οὐδὲν τούτων ἐποίησεν. καταξίωσον οὖν ποιῆσαι ἐνεχθῆναί μοι αὐτά. πάνυ γὰρ χρῄζωχρύζω αὐτῶν. ἀλλὰ ὡσαύτωςὁσαύτος φρόντισον ἵνα μετὰ σκέψεωςσκαίψεως καλῆς ἐξενέγκῃς αὐτά, λέγω δὴ ἀρβελλάρια, τὸ κορμίν, τὴν θυείαν, τὸν τριβέα. ἀπόδος τῷ κυρίῳ μου τιμιωτάτῳ ἀδελφῷ Ἰωάννῃ παρὰ Σαμουήλ.
