Εὐνόϊος Ὡριγένει τῷ τιμιωτάτῳ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. τὸ σπουδαῖον τῶν λόγων ἔργῳ παρεῖδες. ἡμεῖς δὲ τῇ σῇ ἀσχολίᾳασχολεια συνγινώσκομεν, ἀλλὰ χρή σεσαι μεμνῆ σθαι ὧν ὑπέσχου καὶ σπουδάζειν ἃ ἐπηνγείλω ποιήσειν. ὅτε γὰρ ἐχρῆν ἐν ταῖς γλυκείαις Καλάν δαις ἀποσταλῆναι τὸ μέλιμελει οὗ γλυκίωνγλυκείων ὑπάρχεις, σὺσουσοι δὲ καὶ περὶ τοῦτο τὸ μέρος ἠμέλησας, καὶ ταῦτα ἡμῶν σε προσδοκώντων ἥξειν εἰς τὴν ἑορτὴν τῶν Καλανδῶν, καὶ ἀφεῖκας τοὺς συσσίτουςσυσσειτους ἀσίτους. ταῦτα δέ σοι γράφω ἐν ἑορτῇ προσπαίζων καί σε ὑπομιμνήσκων τῆς σῆς πρὸς ἡμᾶς σπουδῆς· τὸν ἐπιδίδοντά σοι τὴν ἐπιστολὴν ὡς ἕνα ἡμῶν ἰδέ. ἔστιν γὰρ Εὐνοΐῳευνοιου σύντροφος. θεοί σε σώσειαν διὰ παντὸς πανοικησίᾳ. α ἀλλʼἀλʼ ὅρα μὴ ἀμελήσῃς, κύριέ μου πάτερ. ἐλθὲ ἐπὶ τὸν Εὐνόϊον εἰς τὴν πανήγυρινπανηγυρις τὴν τοῦ θειοτάτου ἡμῶν Σεβαστοῦ Ἀνούβιδος.
