Ἁρποκρᾶς Θρακίδᾳ τῶι πατρὶ πλεῖστα χαίρειν. εἰδώς σε χαρησόμενον, ἀναγ καίως σοι ἔγραψα μηθὲν περὶ ἐμὲ εἶναι ἀλλὰ μόνον πρὸς ὀλίγας παντελῶς ἡμέρας νωθρότερον ἐσχηκέναι καὶ ἔτι πάλαι κομψότερον ἐσχη κώς, καὶ οὐδὲν περὶ ἐμέ ἐστιν. ἐχάρην δὲ μεγάλως διανα γνούς σου τὴν ἐπιστολήν, ἐν ᾗ σε ἐρρωμενέστατον ἐπέ γνων, δέσποτα πάτερ, καὶ ὅτι σοβαρῶς τὴν ψυχὴν εἶχονεἶχων λαβών σου τὴν ἐπιστολήν, ὑπὸ τὴν ὥραν ἐνόμισα μὴ θε οῦ χρησμός ἐστι, καὶ περισσο τέρως ἔρρωμαι. κόμισαι παρὰ Πετεχῶντος τοῦ καὶ κομίζον τός σοι τὴν ἐπιστολὴν σανδάλιον δραχμῶν δ. περὶ δὲ ὧν ἔτι χρείαν ἔχεις ἐν τάχει μοι δήλωσον ὡς ἔτι ὀλίγας ἐνθάδε ἡμέρας ἔχωἔχωι ἄσπασαι Θατρῆν τὴν μητέρα καὶ Θαισοῦν καὶ Σαραπίωνα καὶ Ἀρίστωνα καὶ Τυχάριον καὶ Νίκην καὶ Εὐτυχ καὶ τοὺς ἐν οἴκωι πάντας. ἔτους η Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Οὐεσπασιανοῦ Σεβαστοῦ Μεχεὶρ β. ἀπὸ Ἁρποκρᾶτος Θρακίδᾳ πατρί.
