κυρίῳ μου ἀδελφῷ Θεονίνῳ Πλούταρχος χαίρειν. τὸ προσκύνημά σου ποιῶ καθʼ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν παρὰ τῳ δεσπότῃ θεῷ ὅπως ὁλόκληρόν σε ἀπολάβω. εἰδέναιἰδέναι σε θέλω, κύριέκηριε μου ἄδελφε, ἐπεὶ τοσαύτην ἐντολήν μοι παρέδωκας ενκλ λάβω εἰς Ἀλεξάνδριαν, οὐχ ὤκνησα οὔτε πάλιν ἠμέλησα. ὁ γὰρ πατήρ μου πολλὰ μοι κακὰ ἐποίησεν, καὶ ἔστεξα ἕως ἔλθῃς. πᾶν ποίησον οὖν, κύριέ μου ἄδελφε, σοῦ κατερχομένου λαβεῖνλαβῖν τὸ κέρμα καὶ ἀγοράσαιἀγοράσε μοι ἐντολικὸν καὶ λαβεῖνλαβῖν παρὰ τῆς Μεγάλης τὸ στιχάριον. ἀλλὰ μόνον μὴ ἀμελήσῃς. ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαιεὔχομε πολλοῖς χρόνοις. ἐντολικὸν Θεονίνῳ παρὰ Πλουτάρχου ἀδελφοῦ.
