In the name of the Lord and Master Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, reign of our most divine and pious masters and greatest benefactors, the eternal Augusti and Emperors Flavius Heraclius and Heraclianus the New Constantine, God-crowned, God-protected, his son, in the year [...] month of Pachon 28, of the fortunate with God third indiction in the city of Heraclea, to the most glorious Lord Menas, assessor of this city of Heraclea, Aurelius, son of Pkaros from the village of the Heracleopolite nome, greetings. I acknowledge having received from her, by hand, in my own possession, with power and authority, safely, from all danger, five gold coins, Arsatika and Keratia making five gold coins, Arsatika and Keratia seven, and have given them for my deposit and their full repayment and perfect fulfillment to her faithfully on the eighth of the coming month of Pauni of the present third indiction, unconditionally and without any kind of examination and within the said deadline.
